«El Primer Evangelio: El Documento Q» is the historical-religious essay by César Vidal, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardback (248 pages, in Spanish).
The work reconstructs the so-called Q Document, a source earlier than the canonical gospels that Matthew and Luke would have used, and presents its translation into Spanish alongside a study of first-century Jewish society, its religious movements, and its relationship with Jesus. The text also addresses what that source reveals about Jesus and his teachings, and closes with two appendices on the dating of the gospels and the historical knowledge of Jesus' life.
