«El pirata Gorgo» is the children's novel by Josep Lluís Badal, illustrated by Anna Clariana, published by La Galera in paperback (112 pages, Spanish).
Gorgo is fired from the ice-cream shop for standing up to his boss, a tyrant. He decides to become a pirate: all he needs is a schooner, a loyal crew and a sharp sabre. To achieve this he makes implausible decisions and puts a tap on his nose instead of a hook, while swearing like no one else. An adventure of humour and boarding.
It belongs to the Grumets series, number 195, and the recommended reading range is 8 to 10 years.
For readers aged 8 to 10 who enjoy pirate stories full of humour and wild antics.
