«El petit Leo i el globus rodó» is the children's picture book by Jo Lodge, published by Edicions Baula in hardback (20 pages, in Catalan).
Little Leo celebrates his birthday: his friends give him objects of different shapes and, thanks to the book's flaps, the reader can discover what shape each gift hides. Leo, in turn, keeps a surprise cake for his friends, at a party full of colour.
Fourth volume in the «El Petit Leo» collection. The text and illustrations are by Jo Lodge; the Catalan edition was published on 14 September 2012.
Suitable for young children, especially those beginning to recognise basic shapes.
Joanna Lodge is a retired British long-distance runner. She represented Great Britain in the Marathon at the 2003 World Championships in Athletics and in the 1999 edition of the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships.
