«El parque: Enciclopedia irrompible de las palabras» is an illustrated children's encyclopedia by Rosario de la Iglesia, published by Plaza Joven in hardback.
The book teaches park vocabulary with an illustrated scene: a pond with a fountain, water lilies, goldfish, a sailboat and a motorboat. Clara and Mauricio are there with their dog Manchas, and the names of the elements appear on the drawing to learn new words.
1986 edition, hardcover 24 cm, with 6 pages illustrated in colour.
Aimed at early readers and preschool children who expand their vocabulary with everyday scenes.
Rosario de Acuña y Villanueva de la Iglesia, better known by the short name Rosario de Acuña and the masculine pseudonym used for her writings, Remigio Andrés Delafón, was a Spanish author of dramas, essays, short stories, and poetry.
