«El ogro de Mariuchi» is the children's story by Magali Bonniol, published by Corimbo in hardback (31 pages, in Spanish).
The story presents a kind-looking ogre and a little boy sharing a quiet, close moment. The illustrations, with simple linework and soft colours, show the two sitting together and suggest a story of friendship between two very different characters, treated with tenderness.
The bibliographic record lists the work as a translation, with the English title Mariuchi's Ogre; the Spanish edition was published in 2003.
Aimed at preschool and kindergarten children, within children's and fantasy literature.
