«El niño que llegó con la niebla» is the children's novel by Paloma Sánchez Ibarzábal, published by Editorial Everest in paperback (96 pages, in Spanish).

Mirna, after spending a long time shut in at home, goes out for a walk on her doctor's advice and finds in the fog a barefoot, poorly dressed boy with no name, parents or home. She takes him in and calls him Tim. Throughout the story, they both learn to face their fears and overcome the loss of a loved one.

Illustrated by Anuska Allepuz, it belongs to the Leer es vivir collection and was a finalist for the Premio Leer es Vivir 2013.

Recommended for children aged 8 to 10 who enjoy stories about generosity and overcoming adversity.
