«El niño que jugaba con ballenas» is the children's adventure fable by Josep Lorman, published by EDICIONES SM in paperback (192 pages, in Spanish).
Gorka barely attends school three months a year: the rest of the time he sails with his family aboard a sailboat, crossing oceans and diving among dolphins, whales and other cetaceans. His encounter with Julia, one of those whales, becomes a great adventure on the high seas and a story of friendship between a boy and an animal.
Volume 188 of the El Barco de Vapor Naranja collection; published in 2020. Includes illustrations by Ana Varela.
Recommended for young readers aged 8 to 12, especially those interested in nature, marine animals and adventure stories.
