«El llapis vermell» is the children's picture book by Mª Rosa Aragó and Pilar Ramos, published by Parramón in hardback (32 pages, in Catalan).
Teresa is drawing her doll Lia, who wears a red-striped dress, when she realizes the red pencil is not in its place. Although she soon finds it, because she is an orderly girl, the situation makes her understand why it is good to use, care for, and store each object in its place so it doesn't get damaged and can be used again.
It belongs to Parramón's First Readings series, in its second edition. The series proposes activities before, during, and after reading.
Recommended for children aged 4 and up who are starting to read in Catalan.
