«El lémur» is the mystery novel by Benjamin Black, published by Punto de Lectura in paperback (201 pages, in Spanish).
John Glass has left journalism to write the authorised biography of his father-in-law, the media magnate and former CIA agent, Big Bill Mulholland. The hiring of an insolent young researcher, with an astonishing resemblance to a lemur, uncovers the secrets of Glass's in-law family. When the researcher turns up dead, John must find out who killed him and why, while his comfortable existence crumbles.
William John Banville is an Irish novelist, adapter of dramas, and screenwriter. A former member of Aosdána, he voluntarily relinquished the financial stipend in 2001 to another, more impoverished, writer.
