«El jardí feliç: una història d’esperança» is the children's story by Michael Foreman, published by Intermón Oxfam in paperback.
In a landscape devastated by war, a boy discovers a small green plant among the rubble. Separated by a wire fence from the fields he used to roam with his father, he cares for it with water and patience while a vine grows; a fable about hope, connection with nature, and the capacity for renewal.
Original English title: A Child's Garden: A Story of Hope. The story was originally published in 2008; this edition is from 2009.
Intended for early readers and for addressing, at home or in the classroom, themes such as war, nature and hope.
