«El inspector Pildorín y los falsos Papá Noel» is the humorous children's novel by Lilli Thal, published in hardback by Anaya Infantil y Juvenil (192 pages).
In a small town, Christmas brings a peculiar tradition: groups of fake Santa Clauses rob shops without remorse. When two gangs of clumsy thieves dispute the territory, agents Pildorín and Pásmez, the most inept in the place, will try to restore order among costumes, a hairy spider and skis.
It belongs to the Libros Singulares collection from Anaya, within the El Inspector Pildorín series. Translated by Moka Seco Reeg, with illustrations by Franziska Biermann. Award-winning work with the Hansjörg-Martin-Preis.
Aimed at readers aged 10 to 12 who enjoy humor and Christmas stories.
