«El gran zoo» is a work by Nicolás Guillén, published in Havana by Ediciones Unión in 1995, in paperback (85 pages, in Spanish).
With irony, Nicolás Guillén observes the contemporary world and turns it into a zoo of brief strokes: each cage houses a heterogeneous Caribbean fauna, made up of characters and situations portrayed with humour and a critical eye.
For those interested in Cuban literature and in short texts with humour and irony.
Nicolás Cristóbal Guillén Batista was a Cuban poet, journalist and political activist. He is best remembered as the national poet of Cuba.
