«El gran viaje de... Pepito Pajarito» is the children's book by Álvaro Colomer, published by edebé in paperback in 2019 (48 pages, in Spanish).
Pepito is a bird so small he sleeps in a sock. He lives in a cage where other birds keep bothering him, until one day he tires of suffering, slips between the bars, reaches the building's ledge and, although he doesn't know how to fly, throws himself into the void to begin his great journey.
Story number 41 in edebé's Tucán Azul collection, recommended for children aged 6 and up.
For early readers starting to read independently, with a short story about freedom and the courage to leap into the unknown.
