In this essay, Isabel Cabetas addresses the psychological well-being of older people and their social place in a longer-lived society. From a psychoanalytic perspective, she questions the prejudices that associate old age with decline and advocates active, integrated ageing, with hope and realism.
The book was published in 2011 in the Quipú - Manuales collection; the full title includes the subtitle «Dar sabiduría a los años».
Suitable for those seeking a reflection on active ageing, the psychology of older adults and the social integration of the elderly.
