«El cumpleaños de oso» is a children's story by Allan Ahlberg, illustrated by Colin McNaughton, in paperback edition (31 pages, in Spanish).
The celebration of the bear protagonist's birthday is the center of this story. The illustrations show the bear with a red scarf and a crown, a gift, a musical instrument, and a decorated cane, details that make up a festive scene.
Published in 1986. Belongs to the Veo-veo collection (no. 24), within Mi primera biblioteca. Translation by María Elena Walsh of the original Bear's birthday.
The collection uses the color yellow for titles aimed at the youngest children; this copy belongs to that series.
