«El cumpleaños de Elmer» is the children's picture book by David McKee, published by Beascoa in paperback (48 pages, in Spanish).
In this adventure, the elephants play a trick on Elmer: they pretend to have forgotten his birthday and ask all the animals of the jungle to go along with the charade. Lion, Tiger, Giraffe and Eldo try to object, but the surprise ends with cake. The book includes ideas for celebrating a party in Elmer's style: games, decorations, cake and other suggestions.
Commemorative volume for Elmer's 35th anniversary, within the series of stories about the multicoloured elephant. 2024 edition.
Suitable for early readers and for sharing with the family; it can also serve as inspiration for organising children's parties.
