«El cos deshabitat» is the crime novel by Esperança Camps Barber, published by Proa in paperback (248 pages, in Catalan).
A Menorcan writer dies in a motorcycle accident on the way to Ciutadella port: he wasn't wearing a helmet and the brakes failed on an oil slick. Accident or murder? The novel alternates the monologues of a couple in crisis and reveals that the German neighbour, Hans, is hiding a Nazi who experimented on human lives in concentration camps.
The work is part of the A tot vent collection from Proa; the paperback edition went on sale on 1 February 2009.
Suitable for readers of crime fiction who appreciate stories told from two opposing points of view.
