«El club de la escalera» is the one-act play by Sergio Vila-Sanjuán, published by Plataforma Editorial in paperback (96 pages, in Spanish).
Bullying or school harassment is at the centre of this one-act play, which explores how one survives that experience and the aftermath it leaves. Years later, people who suffered bullying in adolescence meet again and must face still-open wounds; a text that can be read as a novel and is designed for reflection and debate.
This is the first edition, published on 14 October 2014, in the Fiction collection of Plataforma Editorial.
For the general public interested in theatre and school bullying; it also works in educational settings to debate bullying.
