«El Cid Campeador» is the children's adaptation of «Cantar de Mio Cid» by Joseph Lacier and Rosa Navarro Durán, published by Editors in hardback.
The story follows Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar, the Cid Campeador, after the exile imposed on him by King Alfonso VI. In his campaigns, the knight stands out for his courage and wit, and there are also moving moments with his wife and daughters, as in the cantares spread by minstrels.
The 1986 edition has 203 illustrated pages and is in Spanish.
Intended for boys and girls approaching «Cantar de Mio Cid» and the classics of Spanish literature for the first time.
