«El chiste del pequeño Nicolás» is a children's humour book by Goscinny-Sempé, published by Alfaguara in hardback (240 pages, in Spanish).
In these stories, Nicolás tries to tell a joke he has memorised, but his parents don't laugh; adults seem a mystery to him and laugh at what happens to him. The volume brings together new episodes of Little Nicolás and his gang, with Goscinny's humour and Sempé's drawings.
The book belongs to the series of unpublished Little Nicolás stories, of which it is the third volume, and was published in 2005.
For child and young readers, especially those who enjoy humorous stories featuring children.
