«El chico sobre la caja de madera» is the autobiographical account by Leon Leyson, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardback (204 pages, in Spanish).
Leon Leyson was ten years old when the Nazis invaded Poland and his family was confined to the Kraków ghetto. He survived the Plaszow camp and, thanks to Oskar Schindler, he and part of his family were included on his list of workers. It is the only published testimony by a survivor of Schindler's list, narrated from a child's perspective.
