«El bosc» is a children's picture-word book by Javier Inaraja, published by Tikal-Susaeta in hardback (22 pages, in Catalan).
«El bosc» belongs to the Pictogrames collection and aims to motivate reading: the text, in large handwritten type, intersperses drawings that replace words, whose meaning can be guessed or looked up in the book's dictionary. The protagonists are forest animals, with curious stories and anecdotes and lively illustrations.
Published in 2002; Javier Inaraja is also the illustrator. Recommended reading age: from 6 years.
For early readers starting to read in Catalan who enjoy animals and riddles.
