El beso de la mujer araña es una novela del escritor argentino Manuel Puig, publicada en 1976. La historia se desarrolla en una cárcel de Buenos Aires durante la dictadura militar, donde dos presos, Valentín, un activista político, y Molina, un homosexual, comparten celda. Among his best-known novels are La traición de Rita Hayworth, Boquitas pintadas, and El beso de la mujer araña which was adapted into the film released in 1985, directed by the Argentine-Brazilian director Héctor Babenco; and a Broadway musical in 1993.
