«Drac, explica'ns el modernisme» is the children's book by Edgardo Minond and Miguel Minond, published by Abacus in paperback (80 pages, in Catalan).
With Drac as a guide, the book explains Catalan modernisme and its hallmarks to children: the architecture, decorative elements and art of the movement. It combines simple texts with illustrations showing stylised buildings and figures, designed so that younger readers can recognise this period in a playful way.
The book was published on 2 June 2003; the mention «(+8 años)» in the commercial title indicates that it is intended for children aged 8 and over.
For young readers beginning to familiarise themselves with art and for adults who want to accompany them in that discovery.
