«¿Dónde está el guionista?» is the humour comic by Andrés Palomino and Álex Roca, published by Dibbuks in hardback (128 pages, in Spanish).
It depicts the daily life of the writers of a late-night television show, ignored professionals who work far from the glamour while creating the humour that others take credit for. The comic strip, inspired by real events, follows a pair of long-suffering writers in the service of a media-savvy, despotic and incompetent comedian: when ratings drop, someone always appears shouting «¿Dónde está el guionista?».
Recommended for readers interested in humour with a television backdrop and in satire of the late-night show world.
