«Dites-lui que je l'aime» is the autobiographical account by Clémentine Autain, published by LGF/Le Livre de Poche in paperback (168 pages, in French).

The starting point is Dominique Laffin, a French film actress of the 1970s who died at 33, when Clémentine Autain was 12. Thirty years later, prompted by her own children's questions, the author reconstructs her childhood and her relationship with a mother who could barely care for her, in an attempt to give her back her voice.

The French edition was published on 9 September 2020.
