«Disparates y aventuras en el pico Huracán» is the children's novel by Margaret Mahy, published by Rialp in paperback (149 pages, in Spanish).
A wizard, an inventor, an adoptive aunt, two very clever cats, three wrongdoers and six gifted children meet at the surprising Unexpected School. There they live the most absurd adventure, a tale full of magic and humour in which the most incredible ends up seeming plausible.
Published in 1991 by Rialp in the El Roble Centenario collection; Spanish translation of the original by Margaret Mahy, 'The Blood-and-Thunder Adventure on Hurricane Peak'.
For young readers looking for stories of humour, magic and adventure with a group of eccentric characters.

Margaret Mahy was a New Zealand author of children's and young adult books.
