«Dies de frontera» is the contemporary novel by Vicenç Pagès Jordà, published by labutxaca in paperback (336 pages).
Pau and Teresa are a de facto couple that continues out of inertia until a slip triggers an emotional crisis, a change of address, and a trip to the border. With over a hundred brief chapters, the novel addresses the partners we choose, the parents we encounter, and youth as a stage that is hard to leave behind.
Winner of the Premi Sant Jordi 2013; also received the Premi de Narrativa Maria Àngels Anglada.
For readers of contemporary fiction interested in couple relationships and generational portraits.
