«Die Zauberflöte» is the libretto of the two-act opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, published by Philipp Reclam Jun. in paperback (88 pages, in German).
Prince Tamino is tasked by the Queen of the Night with rescuing her daughter Pamina, held by Sarastro. During his search, Tamino falls in love with Pamina and comes to believe that the real threat is not Sarastro but the queen herself; the text pits the realm of night against that of light, the mysteries and the initiatory trials.
