«Diario Cretino» is the humour book by Ismael Sánchez Pérez, published by Ringo Rango, SL, in paperback (254 pages, in Spanish).
«Diario Cretino» mixes micro-stories, cartoons, illustrations and aphorisms with no apparent order. Ismael Sánchez Pérez starts from trivialities of the immediate surroundings and distorts them with unhinged humour, making the tacky and marginal appealing. The whole is unclassifiable, between comics and micro-fiction.
The first edition of «Diario Cretino» was published on 1 June 2017. Proceeds from sales go to the Protectora de Animales y Plantas Baix Vinalopó animal and plant shelter in Elche.
It is a book for readers with a sense of humour open to the absurd and with no academic demands.
