«Diari del Greg: Un pringat total» is the children's humour graphic novel by Jeff Kinney, published by Editorial Empúries in hardback (224 pages, in Catalan).
Greg Heffley is clear about it: one day he'll be famous, but for now he has to survive middle school, where those who haven't hit their growth spurt yet share corridors with guys who already shave twice a day. Between school, family and friends, his life is a pile of absurd situations narrated with acerbic humour and accompanied by abundant illustrations, in a novel that inseparably combines text and drawing.
First instalment of the Diari del Greg series (Diary of a Wimpy Kid), translated into Catalan by David Nel·lo. Hardback edition of 224 pages, published in 2008. Recommended reading for ages 9 to 12.
Aimed at young readers looking for humour and recognisable teenage situations, and also at adults who want light, fun reading.
