An old man waits in his house in Tangier for friends who, for the most part, have died. During that wait, past and present mingle to trace his personal memory and that of a fading Arab world, in a narrative about death, the passage of time and the meaning of life.
Spanish translation of the original work Jour de silence à Tanger, published in 1990.
For readers of contemporary fiction interested in Moroccan narrative and in memory, old age and the passage of time.
