«Des perles à faire pâlir les cancres» is a humorous collection by Jacques Kravetz, published by Des Idées & des Hommes in paperback (90 pages).
The book gathers «perles», i.e. linguistic errors and howlers made by pupils in hundreds of exams and school assignments. Jacques Kravetz comments on them with irony and adds comic illustrations to offer a satire of the current state of the French language and academic culture, without giving up advocating for more careful expression.
Work published in 2007; text in French (ISBN 9782353690299).
For lovers of humour and language enthusiasts; also for teachers and anyone who wants to laugh at school howlers.
