«Denúncia immediata» is the short story collection by Jeffrey Eugenides, published by Editorial Anagrama in hardback (312 pages, in Catalan).
The stories show ordinary people making drastic decisions: a young man seeking enlightenment, a student in a distressing situation, a failed poet tempted by money, a musician torn between art and family, or a woman determined to become a mother. Eugenides draws with elegance and irony a map of human relationships.
It is the Catalan translation by Ferran Ràfols Gesa of the English original Fresh Complaint, and belongs to the Llibres Anagrama collection (number 51). Published in 2018.
For readers of contemporary short fiction interested in human relationships and moral dilemmas.
