«Del Islam al Cristianismo» is the historical essay by Reyna Pastor de Togneri, published by Edicions 62 in paperback (186 pages, in Spanish).
The essay studies the transition from Islamic to Christian society in Toledo between the 11th and 13th centuries, understood as the advance of Western Europe's feudal formation over the tributary-mercantile system of the Arab world. Toledo is the first case of this process and serves to analyze how the new structures were implemented and what ideological superstructures sustained the change.
The work belongs to the collection Historia, ciencia y sociedad (number 124), was published in Barcelona, and includes a bibliography (pages 179-186).
For readers of medieval history and historiographical essays on the Iberian Peninsula.
