«Del cuidado de las ardillas» is a humorous illustrated album by Axel Scheffler, published by Barbara Fiore Editora in hardback (40 pages, in Spanish).
The book revives advice written a hundred years ago on raising squirrels in captivity and turns it into a fun practical guide. With his illustrations, Axel Scheffler shows how to choose a young specimen born in captivity and highlights the cruelty of capturing an animal that has already lived in the wild.
First illustrated edition, published in 2009 and translated from English. Part of the Miniar collection.
For children and young adults, especially readers of humorous picture books.
