«Del cambio al requetecambio» is a political satire by Encarnación Valenzuela, published by Temas de Hoy in paperback (153 pages, in Spanish).
The book is a satirical guide on how to switch parties without raising suspicion: from PSOE to PP, adapting gestures, conversation and loyalties as convenient. With humour, it reviews the small renunciations and gestures of the militant who crosses sides, in a comedy about the political opportunism of 1993 Spain, with more mockery than doctrine.
The work belongs to the El Papagayo collection, number 71. It corresponds to the first edition, published in Madrid by Ediciones Temas de Hoy on 19 May 1993.
For readers interested in Spanish politics of the nineties and in satire as a tool for looking at partisan opportunism.
