«De verrekijker» is the novel by Kees van Kooten, published by CPNB in hardback (94 pages, in Dutch).
While clearing out his library, Kees van Kooten finds his father's photo album, made during the 1939 mobilisation and the Second World War. Inside is a letter demanding an explanation for why he requisitioned a pair of binoculars from a certain Mr Treurniet; the author wonders if they are the ones he remembers from his childhood and still keeps.
The subtitle «inclusief de Literagenda 2013-2014» indicates that the volume includes the Literagenda from that period.
Readers of Dutch literature and of stories with a Second World War background.
