«Dans la maison de Saralé» is the illustrated children's picture book by Yaël Hassan and Nathalie Novi, published by Casterman in hardback (22 pages, in French).
In Saralé's house, summer is happiness and laughter, but autumn brings wind and rain, and winter takes away her loved ones. Hidden in the attic, the girl watches her world disappear and, with spring, finds herself alone before an empty house. The pastel-toned illustrations accompany the cycle of the seasons and the passage of time.
Yaël Hassan writes the text and Nathalie Novi the illustrations. Published on 14 September 2007.
Aimed at children aged 3 to 5 and suitable for a first contact with French.
