Her return uncovers secrets and grudges cooled by distance, in a portrait of contemporary India with caste and religious tensions. Narrated by Ganesh, the elephant-headed god, who tries to save Lila from her enemy Vyasa.

First Spanish edition, translated from English by Dora Sales; the original title is «Leela's Book». The work was nominated for the DSC Prize for South Asian Literature in 2013.
