«Cròniques del vent absent» is a collection of short stories for young adults by Joan Serra, published by Cadí in paperback (96 pages, in Catalan).
Three stories about history and time: the past becomes perceptible in the air for those with a special sensitivity; a history teacher ends up in a battle that is all too real; and the deceased of Sant Quintí de Mediona rise up against those who want to change the name of the village and its memory.
Part of the Punt de trobada collection from Cadí. First edition published on 10 November 2004; cover illustration by Óscar Sarramia.
Recommended for young readers aged 14 and up, especially those who enjoy stories that mix history, memory and fantastical elements.
