Coup de théâtre à l'école

Synopsis of Coup de théâtre à l'école

«Coup de théâtre à l’école» is a children's book by Jo Hoestlandt, Claude and Denise Millet, published by Bayard Jeunesse in paperback (42 pages, in French).

The story takes place in a school, where two children step onto the stage with their books and perform a short play before the rest of the class, who watch them. The illustrated cover captures that theatrical moment: the characters act energetically, with vivid colours and a yellow background, and the title announces an unexpected event in the school day.

French-language edition of 42 pages published in 2003 in the «J’aime lire» collection from Bayard Poché. The cover attributes the narrative to Jo Hoestlandt and the illustrations to Claude and Denise Millet.
