«Cooltureta» is the humorous graphic novel by Moderna de Pueblo, published by Lumen in paperback (128 pages, in Spanish).
The protagonist, a hipster with a knowledge of the «modern» that is as brilliant as it is irritating, moves to the trendiest neighbourhood in the city looking for cultured friends and bohemian experiences. The comedy laughs at these characters and their contradictions as he stumbles across mainstream mates, a former retro-nerd colleague and his own cultural insecurities.
The first edition of «Cooltureta», published on 15 May 2014, belongs to the Lumen Gráfica collection and comes with flaps.
A work for readers of graphic humour and for those who enjoy satire of Spanish hipster and indie culture.
