«Contribuciones al pensamiento» is Silo's book of philosophical essays, published by Ediciones León Alado in paperback (140 pages, in Spanish).
«Contribuciones al pensamiento» brings together two essays by Silo: «Psicología de la imagen», which develops the theory of the «space of representation» through which consciousness distinguishes between the external and internal world, and «Discusiones historiológicas», which criticises «History without temporality» and seeks to establish historiology as a science.
The current edition is from 2013, but the work originally appeared in 1990; its two essays were written in 1988 and 1989.
It is aimed at readers of Silo and those interested in philosophy of mind, epistemology, and theory of history.
