«Contes amagats de l’Europa de l’Est» is a children's book of folk tales by Antonia Barber, published by Editorial Blume in hardback in 2000.
The book brings together seven little-known folk tales from Poland, Slovakia, Russia, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and Romania. The elegant, illustrated narratives introduce children to the stories and cultures of Eastern Europe, previously little visible behind the borders.
The original English title is «Hidden Tales from Eastern Europe»; the work appears in the children's and young adult category.
Recommended for young readers interested in traditional tales and discovering the cultures of Eastern Europe.
