«Comptines pour la rentrée des classes» is the children's poetry book by Corinne Albaut and Claude Lapointe (Actes Sud, paperback, 61 pages, in French).
A collection of French nursery rhymes that prepares little ones for their first day of school. With a playful tone, the poems explore the corners of the classroom: reading, writing, painting, modelling and play. Claude Lapointe's illustrations depict school scenes full of colour and curiosity.
The book appeared in 1997 in the «Les Petits Bonheurs» collection from Actes Sud Junior, aimed at children aged 3 and up.
For families and educators seeking a first poetic and playful introduction to school.
