In 'Como Rufete en Lorca', César Vidal analyzes 22 disastrous episodes in the history of Spain, from the 8th century to the present. With a critical and documented approach, the author examines the inability of rulers and the lack of critical spirit of the governed, who, with their mistakes and fanaticism, emulate the famous Rufete de Lorca, harming innocents with disastrous consequences. This book offers a different vision of the history of Spain, exploring key moments that had disastrous consequences, such as the opening to Islam, the expulsion of the Jews, and other recent events.
César Vidal Manzanares is a Spanish historian, author, political commentator, and radio host.
