Synopsis of Comme je t'aime !

«Comme je t'aime !» is a children's board book by David Ellwand, Mike Jolley, Emma Dodd and Isabelle Barbier, published by Quatre Fleuves (12 pages).

The board pages combine black-and-white photographs of babies with smiling expressions, a red heart and colourful polka-dot backgrounds. The approach takes advantage of babies' developmental stages so they can recognise emotions such as affection and empathy while playing and exploring.

Published in 2005, it is part of the «Bravo les bébés !» collection and was designed with the collaboration of a speech therapist; the text is in French.

Aimed at babies from 6 months old and for sharing reading with an adult, it fosters the emotional bond in the early years.
