«Comas suspensivas» is a book of experimental science fiction short stories by Israel Alonso, published by La Tercera Fundación in paperback (244 pages, in Spanish).
The author brings together here writings and pretexts arising from the experiences of 2020 and 2021. The pieces play with the reader's disbelief, raise the stakes page after page, and resist classification. It is his most personal and experimental work, halfway between the short story and the speculative proposal.
Published in 2022; the cover reproduces three stylised suspension points made with black particles on a white background.
For readers seeking unconventional science fiction and works that reward the complicity of those who read them.
