«Clara Malraux: nous avons été deux» is the biography written by Dominique Bona and published by Grasset in paperback (469 pages, in French).
Dominique Bona reconstructs the life of Clara Malraux, wife and companion of André Malraux: complicity, passion, infidelities and political adventures, from the 1920s to the Spanish Civil War. The biography shows a free woman who takes part in the trip to Indochina, suffers her husband's abandonments and campaigns for the oppressed.
Will appeal to readers of biographies about twentieth-century intellectual Paris and to those who want to learn about the role of women in the lives of great writers.
